Ownership of Site; Agreement to Terms of Use

These Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Terms of Use") apply to the Society of Bioethics and Medicine website or mobile site located at www.bioethicsandmedicine.com and all associated sites linked to www.bioethicsandmedicine.com by the Society of Bioethics and Medicine (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is the property of the Society of Bioethics and Medicine at Hunter College and its licensors. BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE; IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

The Society of Bioethics and Medicine is not affiliated with Hunter College. Society of Bioethics and Medicine is a student-run club at Hunter College. The "Content" we post is not representative of the Hunter College personnel's (staff/students/professors/etc.) opinion or advice. Our website serves as a platform for students to display their opinions.

The Society of Bioethics and Medicine reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms of Use at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes.

 

As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, the Society of Bioethics and Medicine at Hunter College grants you the limited privilege to enter and use the Site.

All text, graphics, photographs, sounds, videos, music, and logos (collectively, "Content"), contained on the Site, is owned, controlled, or license by the Society of Bioethics and Medicine, and is protected by copyright and various other intellectual property rights.

You may use information from the Society of Bioethics and Medicine website and services (such as knowledge base articles and similar materials) purposely made available by the Society of Bioethics and Medicine alongside its contributing members provided that you (1) use such information only for your personal, non-commercial informational purpose and do not copy or post such information on any networked device or any media, (2) make no modifications to any such information.

You may not copy or monitor any portion of the Site or any Content, or in any way reproduce or circumvent presentation of the Site or any Content.

The Society of Bioethics and Medicine's obligations, if any, concerning its content and services are governed by the executive board members of the Society of Bioethics and Medicine.

The content and services provided on the Site may be out of date, and the Society of Bioethics and Medicine is not obligated nor make a commitment to update its materials on the Site.
